For some time it has been undertaken at the Fondazione Ospedale Maggiore, Policlinico, Mangiagalli Regina Elena of Milan, promoted by “childproject”, an integrated approach to the pediatric patients hight blood pressure named centre child. The activity of the center responds to wide clinical request, particularly acute in maternal - children's third level and employs a number of experts. The child project has then extended to other Italian regions the constitution of dedicated Multidisciplinary Centers to the care of high blood pressure of the child.
These centers can provide patients and their families with a wide availability of access and a best diagnostic and therapeutic approach, thanks to assistance and cooperation of several specialists (including cardiologists, pediatric nephrologists, dieticians and pharmacists) and the use of standardized measurement methods
